Disposable Diapers are NOT washable!

We are potty training our 2 year old son. He has had a habit lately of taking his diaper off and going potty himself. Great.... right? Well here's the thing.... The diaper ALWAYS comes up missing. We can never find where he disposed of it at. His place to "throw it away" had been "sissy's trash." We use cloth on our 6 month old and have a kitchen trash can in our laundry room for her diapers. He would just open the lid and throw it in there and then run into the bathroom and go like a big boy. We thought we had solved that problem. We made sure the bathroom trash is always empty so that he can dispose of it in there. He's been doing so well..... or so we thought. I did a load of diapers tonight and as I was pulling the wetbags and the covers out, I found a disposable diaper that had been washed. Given it is now just the outer shell of this diaper. I'm kind of scared as to where the rest went. Guess I need to pay more attention to what he's doing with the diaper he's taking off.

My favorite sites

Sorry for the long break. I lost interest in the couponing for a few months, but am ready to get back on track. I want to share with you my favorite sites.

My all-time favorite is coupons.com.

But I also use redplum.com smartsource.com and unilever.com.

Mypoints.com is an awesome way to also print off coupons and earn points to get free gift certificates. With Mypoints you can also read emails and take surveys for points as well. When we switched insurance companies, we used the insurance search feature it has and submited a copy of our policy and got 5000 points for doing so. You can do this every 6 months... so 2 times a year. PM me for an invite!

Swagbucks.com is what I use to search the internet (it's powered by google) and earn "money" for my searches and turn these into giftcards as well.

A new site to shop for household needs is alice.com. This site always has free shipping and in-site coupons you can grab to make for some pretty cheap things!

Restaurant.com: $25 Certificate for ONLY $4!

Save 60% off your Dinner of the Month Club purchase. Use code HARVEST, thru 11/05/09 only at Restaurant.com.

Lifelock Identity Protection

Have you ever had your identity stolen?....I have....twice. It sucks! It's very time consuming to get everything straightened out and to prove that it wasn't you who made those purchases.

That's why I love Lifelock! It's there job to make sure my identity won't get stolen again.

A little information about them....

LifeLock is an industry leader in the rapidly growing field of identity theft protection. LifeLock opened it's doors in April 2005. We serve tens of thousands of consumers in every state of the union, Puerto Rico and the US Virgin Islands.

This is what they offer:

• LifeLock Identity Alert™ - Our advanced LifeLock Identity Alert™ system provides you broader identity coverage, greater control, and early notification of potential identity threats. We alert you by email, postal mail, and/or phone whenever we detect your personal information being used to apply for many forms of credit cards, wireless services, retail credit, utilities, check orders/reorders, mortgage loans, auto loans, and non-credit related payday loans. If the application is fraudulent, our remediation team will take action to help restore your good name.
• eRecon™ - Using industry-leading technology our eRecon™ service scours thousands of known criminal websites for the illegal selling or trading of your personal information (including your Social Security number, credit card number, driver's license and email address, if provided). When we find a piece of your identity on one of these black market sites, we alert you and help you take steps to resolve the problem.
• TrueAddress™ - By submitting a change of address request, identity thieves can divert your mail to steal your personal and financial information. TrueAddress™ is designed to proactively detect any new address information in address databases nationwide. Once detected, we notify you and if the address change is, we work with you to help avoid further damage, and restore accurate address information.
• WalletLock™ - A lost or stolen wallet can mean hours of contacting police, banks, and government agencies before an identity thief uses your information to their advantage. As a LifeLock member, if your wallet goes missing, just give us a call - anytime, anywhere - and a WalletLock™ specialist will help cancel and replace the lost contents of your wallet, including your credit/debit cards, driver's license, social security card, insurance cards, checkbook - even travelers checks. (Pictures, cash, and other monies are excluded. Member is responsible for all applicable fees charged by document issuing companies to replace lost or stolen documents.)
• Reduce Pre-Approved Credit Offers – Not only are pre-approved offers annoying, they also present an easy opportunity for thieves. That’s why we request your name be removed from pre-approved credit card offer mailing lists. This reduces the possibility of someone rifling through your mail and stealing financial information to open credit using your name.
• Request Free Annual Credit Reports – While you can do this yourself for free, we make it convenient and order your free annual credit reports from the three major credit-reporting agencies on your behalf. These free credit reports allow you to check for discrepancies and potential credit-related problems.
• 24-Hour Member Service – It’s good to know that no matter where you are or what time it is, LifeLock will be there. LifeLock provides anytime online access to our myLifeLock member portal and direct 24/7 access to our Member Support Representatives.
• $1 Million Total Service Guarantee – As a LifeLock member, if you become a victim of identity theft because of a failure in our service, we’ll help fix it at our expense, up to $1,000,000. We not only assign a dedicated specialist to help you, but we will spend up to one million on lawyers, investigators, accountants, case managers – whatever it takes to help you recover your good name. Click here for details and restrictions on our $1 Million Total Service Guarantee.
